Retail space and site rental at our hospitals

Our goal is to enhance and complete the experiences of patients and visitors to our Hospitals, as well as our staff, by providing the best possible catering and shopping services and facilities. This is accomplished by establishing partnerships with reputable and reliable retailers who can provide good quality products and excellent customer service within a Hospital environment. These activities naturally generate valuable income for the Trust through the use of vacant and redundant space, whilst at the same time, improving the ambiance of the Hospital environment.

The Trust’s tenants include a number of blue chip high street brands as well as major telecommunications companies. A recent £5m redevelopment of St Thomas’ Hospital, unveiled in January 2010, has resulted in the introduction of a Marks and Spencer Simply Food store and Café, as well as AMT Coffee, NatWest Bank and gift shop on a World Heritage site with unrivalled views of London’s famous landmarks.
