Pharmacy Production Services
Operating from a state of the art £6million production facility located at Guy's Hospital, our pharmacy production unit is able to provide a range of services tailored to the specific needs of both NHS and private clients. Our services include:
- sterile and non sterile manufacturing of special medicines, including creams and ointments
- tableting and encapsulating
- extemporaneous dispensing
- over-labelling.
In addition, we have an experienced team of QA releasing officers who have extensive experience in traditional analytical as well as gas testing and environmental monitoring.
The department has particular expertise in the design, IMP preparation and release of Phase 1, 2 and 3 clinical trials and works closely in collaboration with a number of major pharma companies including Quintiles, a large international drugs research unit.
